Introducing Richard Harris

Richard is a proud father of three wonderful daughters, one of whom plays U15 county cricket for Warwickshire (sorry Northamptonshire). Richard also has two delightful grandchildren and a loyal, albeit crazy, cocker spaniel named Olive. His partner, Anne, is an unwavering source of support and motivation. Together, they enjoy their lives in Daventry, Northants. Richard is passionate about my local environment, outdoor pursuits, traveling, and tending to my allotment.

For the past 30+ years, Richard has worked in the automotive industry, despite not being a "car nut" himself. A significant portion of his career was spent at Jaguar Land Rover, where he developed an expertise in performance and commercial operations. In Richard's final years at JLR, he took on a senior role overseeing several franchise partners. Throughout his journey, Richard has learned invaluable lessons in integrity, honesty, commitment, communication, and the importance of building strong relationships.

These attributes, along with the life skills he has gained, has given him, a deeper understanding of how the world works. Recently, turning his attention to local government, an area he is new to but equally passionate about. Richard is dedicated to making a real difference in people's lives and creating meaningful change, just as he has in his professional career.
